Practical guide
Shopping cards often advertise their best number beside a familiar marketplace, but the useful question is how much of your own budget qualifies. A card optimised for Amazon may be ordinary on Flipkart, Myntra or a direct-to-consumer website. Accurate Paisa keeps major shopping channels separate in the spending form, then applies the supported reward rule to each. This makes the result sensitive to where you shop instead of treating every online transaction as identical.
Enter a normal month, including months without a festival sale. The engine annualises that pattern, applies supported caps and milestones, tests the annual-fee waiver and calculates net value after fee and GST. Merchant-funded instant discounts are not assumed to continue for a full year because they change by campaign, inventory, card network and checkout conditions. They can be useful, but should be treated as an additional offer rather than the stable base value of the card.
Before applying, check whether purchases through gift cards, wallets, EMI, the issuer portal or a different seller are eligible. Returns can reverse rewards and a refund may arrive in a later statement cycle. Compare shopping value with the card’s performance on groceries, utilities, fuel and offline purchases so a strong marketplace benefit does not hide weak everyday value. Most importantly, purchase only what was already planned and repay the full statement amount by the due date.

Your monthly inputs are annualised and evaluated against every automatic card profile. Supported category rates, reward caps and milestones are applied first. The engine then checks whether eligible annual spending reaches the fee-waiver threshold. If it does not, the annual fee and GST are subtracted to produce net annual value. Benefits without a dependable cash value remain visible on the card page but do not inflate the result.
The ranking inside the calculator is personal to the amounts entered. The card list above uses only a clearly labelled discovery signal based on terms clarity and reward usability, so it should not be interpreted as “best card” advice. Confirm current fees, exclusions and eligibility on the official issuer page before applying.
